Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Trust & Safety Specialist to join our team and help maintain a secure and welcoming environment for our users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring user-generated content, enforcing community guidelines, and taking appropriate actions to address potential safety issues and policy violations.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor user-generated content and interactions to ensure compliance with community guidelines and policies.
  • Respond to user reports and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Investigate and address instances of harassment, bullying, spam, or other violations of platform rules. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content moderators, customer support, and legal, to enforce policies consistently.
  • Contribute to developing and updating community guidelines and safety protocols as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to online community safety.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of tools and technologies to enhance community safety.
  • Meet productivity and quality targets set by the project management teams.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or specialized diploma in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, or a related role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of online community dynamics and potential risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills for monitoring and interpreting data related to community safety.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Google/Microsoft Suite.
