Consultant
OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and
technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients.
We provide consulting services in the areas of Data Analytics and Management,
Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information
Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT Consulting currently has an opening for an experienced Consultant to support
a Federal government client. This position is contingent on contract award. The
responsibilities for the Consultant include:
Provides functional expertise in data extraction, visualization, analysis, and
management for acquisition programs and integrates performance across
critical functional capabilities
Provide analytical support for federal acquisition programs and supplier
relationship management program and subject matter expertise for data
requests from client
Provides recommendations for process improvements or strategic changes
and edits business rules, guidance, and regulations associated with client
programs
Draft reports and briefings to senior Government executives
Participate and take notes in regular meetings and status reviews
Qualifications and Skills
1+ years of relevant DoD experience in supply chain, acquisition,
procurement or logistical fields, DLA experience preferred
Prior experience with federal acquisitions and DoD procurement databases
preferred
Familiarity with a wide range of data processing and visualization tools
including but not limited to Microsoft Access, Qlik, SQL Plus, and Tableau
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
and the ability to convey complex information concisely
Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a
capacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders
The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in
a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modifications
to the schedule and assessment requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education and Certifications
A Bachelor's degree is required in a technical, business or professional field
