General Summary: Qualcomm's Emulation Team is part of the central SoC digital hardware organization responsible for the overall quality of the SoC. The Emulation team works closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers. The team is currently seeking a candidate for emulation support technician. The candidate is expected to be familiar with common PC components (PCIe, USB, CPU, GPU) and how these components connect to each other. The ideal candidate would be able to read basic schematics and be able to assist in hardware debug activities.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Daily support of custom hardware/server configuration, interfacing with the larger SVE team to triage and resolve issues, removal and replacement of specific hardware components and working from a ticket queue. The candidate would need to be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. 5 years of basic electrical/electronics engineering, electronics or RF testing, or related experience. Physical Requirements: Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 25 lbs.

Pay range: $28.02 - $42.02 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
