Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will meet all of the requirements of the position and can lead a team in an agile environment. This is a full-time, salaried Full Stack Architect/Lead Developer position supporting our Federal client. You must be able to pass a Public Trust background check as required by the Federal client.

This position is for a full-stack architect with experience developing and deploying enterprise-scale applications on Azure cloud platforms. The architect can also do development in addition to prototyping different approaches. The candidate will lead a team of developers to produce a scalable solution using front and back-end coding languages (ASP.NET/CD#, .NET, Angular), development frameworks, and third-party open source libraries. This individual should be self-motivated to drive solutions. The responsibilities of this position include the following:

Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and technical direction for solution development/integration
  • Build applications with best-in-class UI/UX design principles along with full-stack ASP.NET/C#.NET
  • Work with federal stakeholders to develop a large-scale, open-source platform ? code will be shared on GitHub
  • Participate in vision workshops and create a minimum viable product (MVP)
  • Draft technical documentation and communicate routinely with senior leaders
  • Lead/participate in design and architecture planning, development planning, code reviews, software demonstrations, build maintenance, and automated deployments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Architect or similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS)
  • Experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., Angular , HTML/CSS, JavaScript, , React, Vue.js, XML)
  • Experience with multiple back-end languages (e.g., ASP.NET, Node)
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with ASP.NET/C#, Frontend (Angular)
  • Ability to help up an open source project on GitHub, where all code developed will be shared
  • Strong experience developing code in a CI/CD environment using automated testing frameworks and containerization
  • Strong experience with API and services design and implementation
  • Experience with large-scale databases (specifically PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with software versioning, packaging, and deployment (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform and IaaS
  • 6+ years of web application development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with full-stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back-end architecture interactions
  • Experience with testing approaches and frameworks (unit testing, automated testing)
  • Solid knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodologies
  • Experience creating a custom website presence
  • Understanding the mobile-friendliness of websites
  • Familiarity and experience with Section 508 standards
  • Experience with IT security
  • Experience with designing for scalability, using caching and other performance improvement techniques
  • Experience with handling user input from non-traditional input devices (e.g. barcode scanners)
  • Self-motivated and fast-learner
  • Experience with creating inventory management systems and integration with barcode readers
  • This person must also be able to pass a Public Trust background check/clearance required by the Federal client.
