Colonial Beach Auto, a trusted and reputable Full-Service Collision Center, Auto Body Repair, Paint Shop, and Computerized Auto Repair company, is currently seeking a skilled Virginia State Inspector & Automotive Technician. Responsibilities- Perform Virginia State inspections on a variety of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and emissions standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment to identify problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Repair and replace faulty vehicle components, such as brakes, suspension, and engine parts
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
- Keep up-to-date with latest automotive technology and techniques
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements
- Valid Virginia State Inspector license is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational training program or apprenticeship in automotive mechanics
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
- Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
