Camelot Kids is a renowned preschool that is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for young children to learn and grow. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and hearts of our young learners, helping to lay the foundation for their future success.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is designed to foster children's intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth. You will create a warm and welcoming classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and discover the world around them. As a Preschool Teacher, you will work closely with parents to ensure open communication and collaboration in order to meet the individual needs of each child. Additionally, you will monitor and assess children's progress, providing them with regular feedback and guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children aged 3-5 years old
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Foster children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and modeling
  • Encourage children's independence and self-help skills
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child
  • Collaborate with parents to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress and development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or 12 units of ECE Credit)
  • Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting
  • A deep understanding of child development theories and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
