Aardvark Studios is hiring an experienced Program Manager to play a crucial role within our organization. Program Managers' are wholly responsible and accountable for the successful planning, execution, and completion of our mobile tours, which includes high levels of client and team engagement to drive the overall satisfaction of our clients.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be highly motivated and possess an "of service" mentality that is leveraged to exceed customer expectations. The position is client facing, requiring a high sense of ownership, effective communication skills and prior work experience that is reflected through a broad knowledge of business functions and proven problem-solving abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job responsibilities of our Program Managers include, but are not limited to:

  • 100% responsible for assigned programs and adherence to overall program execution, including program readiness, launch timeline and budget requirements
  • Lead cross-functional team(s) to ready the tour for launch and ensure plan execution throughout the tour, exerting ownership over timelines, budgets and team performance with the intent to exceed customer expectations
  • Primary point of contact for clients that will require the Program Manager to build rapport and manage client relationships with emotional intelligence and confident communication
  • Owns the program budget by tracking expenses and incremental costs; makes sound financial decisions
  • Creatively solve problems as they arise through resourceful and big picture thinking
  • Create mobile tour teams by interviewing, hiring and training tour staff who will appropriately represent clients and Aardvark Studios at each stop
  • Develop, coach and inspire tour personnel, including DOT drivers, setting them up for success and continuous skill development
  • Create and implement process improvements to reduce program risks and improve tour performance KPIs
  • Manage, approve and process tour staff payroll and expense reports 
  • Responsible for program reporting, event execution, KPI analysis and post-tour recap reviews
  • Some long days, weekends, and travel may be required
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 3 years project management experience with a solid foundation in process and procedures
  • At least 3 years experience hiring and managing a team of 3 or more direct reports 
  • 3 years experience of accountability and demonstrated success in managing a budget
  • "Of service" mindset, excited to go the extra mile to improve the experience of others 
  • Must be a creative problem-solver who is calm under pressure and prepared to adapt plans to meet new expectations or challenges 
  • Must be self-motivated and reliable with the ability to prioritize competing demands with minimal daily supervision
  • Flexible and confident in pivoting to new solutions to adapt to changing expectations, operating conditions or unforeseen barriers 
  • Must have the ability to manage DOT compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Extremely well organized and experience in managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present to Senior Management and Executive level positions
  • A true team player ? willing and able to assist with whatever is needed on short notice -including the ability to put in long hours, work some weekends 
  • Strong computer skills and spreadsheet-based analytical, budgeting and reporting capabilities - expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
  • PMP certification is preferred but not required
