Job Description

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN Coordinator to join our team in the Ambulatory Oncology department. As an RN Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the care of oncology patients in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive high-quality and comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall coordination of care for oncology patients in the ambulatory setting.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care.
  • Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate and schedule follow-up appointments, tests, and procedures for patients.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • BSN Graduates: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
  • ADN Graduates: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program 30 days before the start date. 
  • Associate Degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
  • Washington State Registered Nurse License within 6 months of hire
  • BLS at time of hire and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network branch of AHA (upload documentation with online application)
  • BLS must not expire during orientation
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

Education

  • BSN preferred

Experience

  • Recent experience in an ambulatory oncology setting.
  • Recent peri-operative experience

Registrations, Certifications, and/or Licenses

  • Oncology Nurse (OCN) at the time of hire

This position comes with a Hiring Bonus up to $10,000 DOE, and a Relocation Package is available. Candidate must start by July 1, 2024 to qualify. $49.16-$78.18 per hour, based on RN Degree and level of experience
