AWS is looking for a business development leader with expertise in the application of data clean room and identity resolution technologies, primarily for advertising and marketing use cases - including campaign planning, activation and measurement. The Business Development Manager should be passionate about our customers, capable of prioritizing key customer needs for data collaboration, identity resolution and interoperability in advertising and marketing, and experienced in bringing to market cloud-based solutions that meet those customer needs (including partner solutions). Key job responsibilities Your responsibilities include working with our broad base of advertising and marketing customers (adtech, martech, marketers, agencies and media platforms) to identify key use cases in privacy-enhanced data collaboration, identity resolution and interoperability for advertising and marketing, developing AWS Clean Rooms and AWS Entity Resolution solutions, leading the GTM efforts to bring those solutions to market at scale, and supporting our field teams in closing opportunities and growing business featuring those solutions. As part of these efforts, you will represent AWS in applicable industry working groups, attend and speak at industry events, collaborate with industry/product marketing, and support the creation of significant new business opportunities for AWS. You will work closely with AWS Worldwide BDs, Tech Specialists, Partners, Consultants and Marketing teams to identify and promote AWS Clean Rooms and AWS Entity Resolution opportunities. Roles & Responsibilities: Define and size segments, analyze customer adoption lifecycle, identify and engage new customers and identify and engage key partners including ISVs and system integrators. Build, track and grow business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and partners. Understand the technical requirements of our customers, identify their cloud adoption challenges that can benefit from data clean room and identity resolution solutions, and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings. Understand the use of Salesforce.com and field-enablement tools. Present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our adoption across customers. Handle a high volume of engagements and interactions in the fast pace of the cloud computing market. A day in the life The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in data clean rooms, identity resolution services/technologies, data services, media analytics, media operations, and data governance for advertising and marketing use cases with demonstrated experience interacting at the CxO/VP level. She/he should have extensive experience with advertising and marketing use cases including consented consumer data collection/processing/management, media planning/activation/measurement, and personalization/recommendation. She/he should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. industry experience in advertising and marketing with working knowledge of data clean room and/or identity resolution services and technologies. Preferred Qualifications - 6 years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience - 5 years of experience and working knowledge of use cases in the Healthcare and Life Sciences and Financial Services domains with data clean room and/or identity resolution technologies. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
