Job Description

fs3|Hodges is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced owner's representative Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a leader in the construction industry, fs3|Hodges is committed to delivering high-quality projects while providing exceptional client service. The Senior Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of complex construction projects, from design and planning to execution and completion. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Salary Range:$125,000 - $175,000

Responsibilities
  • The primary role will be as construction manager/administrator with some pre-construction activities 
  • Oversee subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage project budget, including cost control and change order management
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their project vision and goals, and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project team members
  • Manage project risks and develop contingency plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 20+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, including major capital projects 
  • Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred 
  • CSU experience is a plus but not required 
  • Extensive knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale and complex construction projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
