We're on the Lookout for aStaff Accountantto generate financial statements and manage the close process to support the financial operations of our private equity backed, HIGH GROWTH home services company!

Job Profile:

Responsibilities

o  Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of general ledger accounts.

o  Performing general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors made by internal and external personnel.

o  Maintain and update records and reports for P&L, liabilities, and assets.

o  Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.

o  Ensuring compliance with GAAP.

o  Assisting the Controller as needed.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Proficiencies

o  Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

o  High level of accuracy and analytical skills with attention to detail

o  Strong written and verbal communication skills

o  Strong ability to learn ERP system and drive for process efficiencies

o  Excellent time management and self-direct work

Preferred Experience: 

o  Knowledge of full cycle accounting in an ERP system, preferably Sage Intacct

o  ERP transition experience from Quick Books to larger ERP system

o  Mergers and Acquisitions accounting experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

o  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related; Master's degree is a plus.

o  CPA Certificate is preferred but not required.

o  Minimum 2 years of professional experience in full-cycle close process

o  Must live in commutable distance to Alpharetta, GA or Joelton, TN;  while this is a hybrid role with remote flexibility, in-office is required at times
